Delivery Information
During the Covid -19 crisis all delivery times were extended, we have now seen massive reductions in delivery times, with the vast majority of suppliers being back to pre Covid delivery timeframes. There may still be the odd minor delay from time to time but our estimated delivery window on each product can now be used as an accurate guide once again.
Delivery Included is to Mainland UK postcodes* (see exclusions page). on orders over £40.
Standard Delivery is shipped within 1-2 working days and delivered within 2-5 working days unless otherwise stated (see estimated delivery date on each item).*
Specialist delivery will be by arrangement between our carrier and our customer, within 7 working days of order placement.*
Bedrooms & Dining is an ecommerce store, we do not hold stock of any of the products.This enables us to speed up delivery times as we have them delivered brand new, direct from the suppliers, straight to your home.
We show the estimated delivery times on the product pages which differs between suppliers, some items only available on specialist delivery, mainly pre-assembled goods .
If after placing an order we find the wait time will be longer than stated we will inform you as soon as possible.
If the leadtime is longer than expected and you do not wish to wait you may cancel with a full refund.
Please note days quoted are Monday - Friday and exclude weekends.
Delivery Information United Kingdom
We now offer Delivery Included to England, Wales and most of Scotland on all orders over £40.
Some parts of Scotland including the highlands, Islands, postcodes in remote areas and northern & southern Ireland, will incur an added delivery surcharge which will be added in the checkout area once the delivery postcode is submitted.
Delivery may not be possible in more remote areas of UK and Ireland.
When the item(s) is in your shopping basket, click shopping cart and you enter your postcode the delivery charge (if applicable) will be added to your order.
Smaller items may be delivered via parcel post or by courier service.
Northern Ireland & ROI Only a handful of our suppliers deliver to Ireland. However please ask if there is something you are interested in and we can see what we are able to do for you. We do not deliver any glass or marble furniture off-shore.
Islands
We do not deliver to Channel Islands, Shetlands, Isles of Wight, Isle of Man, Isles of Sicily & Orkney Island. However, we can deliver up to the nearest port and the customer can arrange onwards delivery.

Delivery Times
Delivery times will vary depending on which manufacturer / supplier / wholesaler your goods come from.
We do add an estimated delivey date to the product page, but as this is only an approximate, tracking information will be added to your order and you will be emailed with this and any susequent updates.
Deliveries to Scotland and remote areas will take longer.
All delivery times quoted by us at the time you place your order and after are estimates.
We will make every effort to ensure that we honor estimated delivery dates, but it is possible that circumstances beyond our control may cause delivery dates to be changed.
Please note days quoted are Monday - Friday and exclude weekends, so 10 working days would be 14 days.
Specialist Deliveries
When your order is ready for delivery, the relevant delivery company will call you to arrange delivery on larger items, on smaller items you may get a notification text message or email informing you of the delivery window (usually a 2 hour window) You will be offered an initial delivery slot, if this is not acceptable you will be offered alternatives although they may not always be offered that day and the delivery company may need to call you back at a later date. We encourage all customers to accept the soonest date and make arrangements to be available or have a friend, relative or neighbour available as to not prolong the delivery times.
Delivery bookings are usually made between 9.00am and in some cases up to 6.00pm Monday to Friday a few days prior to delivery. Where possible the booking will confirm whether delivery will be AM or PM.
Goods can only be delivered to the delivery address provided by the customer. Change of address is discretionally and maybe subject to extra charges.
Multi-item orders (orders containing more than one item) are always dispatched in their entirety when all goods are from the same supplier, so please consider the longest fulfillment time for an item to be the delivery time of your order.
However multiple item orders from various manufacturers / suppliers / wholesales will be shipped separately and will probably arrive on different days. If required you can coordinate with carrier when they notify you of your upcoming delivery to ensure the deliveries are carried out on the same day.
Deliveries in all areas will be made between Monday to Friday. Normal delivery times shall be 7.00am to 12.00pm deemed to be morning and 12.00pm to 6.00pm deemed to be afternoon, unless alternative times have been agreed.
How goods are delivered
Delivery is usually made by a one-man carrier delivery service, for heavy goods please ensure there is help to unload your goods when they arrive to you. Two man services may be arranged if required (there may be an additional charge for two man services)
Please note:
Delivery is to ground floor locations only and generally to your door.
You will need to ensure you are able to move your item to your room of choice as the delivery team are not insured and will therefore refuse to do so unless agreed prior and a waiver is in place.
Some Items may require self-assembly. We try to add on the product page if assembly is required. Sometimes mistakes are made at product input so please check if this affects whether you would want to purchase the relevant items.
It is the customer’s responsibility to properly dispose of all packaging that the items are delivered in.
Collections
Alternative delivery options and collections may be agreed by us in writing at the time of the order being placed.
Delivery Access to Your Premises
If we agree to deliver to your room of choice, it is your (the customers) responsibility to provide free and easy access to the ultimate destination of goods supplied by us. If windows or doors need to be removed in order for access to be gained it is your responsibility to arrange this at your own cost and risk. If access is in anyway restricted making delivery of the goods to the final destination difficult it is essential that you let us know. You should think in particular about vehicle access, lifts and tight stairs etc.
Recieving Your Delivery
Ensure you check your packages for any sign of damage before signing for them, specifically on corners.
If damaged you must sign "Package Damaged" or refuse delivery.
Ensure when opening your item you do so carefully because if you need to return the item you must do so in the original packaging. Failure to do so will result in refusal of the returned item.
Re-Deliveries/Failed Deliveries
Any deliveries that have been booked and confirmed with customers are expected to be carried out, any failed deliveries will be charged to the customer for re-delivery. These charges vary from one supplier to another but can be as much as £150 for larger items. So please inform us and the carrier as soon as possible if you are unable to take delivery on the day allocated, in order to avoid any charges.
If you wish to cancel the order after a failed delivery, you will be refunded minus the costs incurred to us from the initial failed delivery. This includes all free delivery or discounted offers on our website.
Failed Deliveries By Us
Every effort is made to make sure deliveries are executed on the date and time arranged.
However due to the high number of deliveries made each week, the difficulties caused by traffic congestion and weather conditions (including snow, ice, wind, rain and flood) and third party couriers can sometimes cause delays to these schedules.
On some rare occasions permitted driving hours regulations may force these delays to extend overnight or longer.
We regret we cannot compensate customers for delivery delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.Payment Options
